Tip of the day:

One of the most commonly asked question by students is that they love character design but don't know how to begin. Well, the only advice is... Just start! Once you start doing it. You will come across problems. And those problems will tell you what solutions to look for. Simple!

P.S. Just Don't do copy sketching, but attempt to create designs based on live reference or photos. Give yourself a character design brief and then try to find the design solution to it.

A Sneak peek at a few more designs I finished for my next sketchbook

This week I could get some time to finish a few more designs for sketchbook02. I am almost done with the sketches. Its time now to figure out other things. BTW if you have purchased my sketchbook01, I would love to hear from you about the print n paper quality. Although the paper cost me nearly 01 lac Rupees extra, But I don't mind using the fine quality paper again! :)

‪ I took a couple of my old ‪character designs‬ and created a small ‪story‬ composition from it. I am planning to do more of these for my next sketchbook.

A few Daily practice sketches...

These are a few warm up sketches that I do daily. Usually I go outdoors or else I Google random words and draw from the references. The mail objective here is to use the references to study expressions, body language and try an d create a small story moment around them. Hope you guys enjoy these!
