Tip of the day

'It doesn't matter how fast you have reached a level. What matters is how many levels up you are willing to go!'

Don't worry if you are slower then a few others, you can always make up for it by going beyond the point where rest of them decide to stop.

A few pencil studies...

A few studies done using the references on the internet. I wasn't sketching with pencils for over a month now. I just purchased a Cintiq 22HD a month back so was exploring the digital sketching options. To be honest I didn't enjoy sketching on Cintiq as I do on real paper. The main reason is that you don't get that natural feeling of paper on the Cintiq screen. I mean the pencil brush has texture but one cannot physically feel it on the smooth surface of the screen! Hopefully after spending more time on it I will get a better hold of it. After all I spent a lot buying it! :P :D
